How To Use a Push Button Vape Pen
If the vape pen does not turn on after one click, try clicking it 3 to 5 times in quick succession to see if this works. Usually, the number of times you need to click it can be found on the manual that comes with the device.
Why Is My Vape Pen Blinking?
If your vape pen is blinking, it probably means it’s about to run out of battery. If it needs to be charged, the vape should let you know as soon as you plug the USB charger into the vape. If the battery is charged all the way, it could also mean you’ve run out of vape juice.
Getting Burnt Tasting Hits?
If you’re getting burnt hits, make sure you prime the coil if you haven’t done so already. Adding more vape juice or changing it without priming the coil is normally the number one reason for burnt hits.
If you did prime the coil but feel like you’re still getting dry hits then try to leave the vape alone for ten minutes and allow the coil to soak in the vape juice before turning it back on again.
Another reason could be that your coil’s too old and it’s time to change it. Used coils can taste pretty bad and one of the main reason for hits that taste off.
Leaky Tank
If your tank is leaking, there’s a good chance that you overfilled it. In most cases, tanks come with a mark that tells you where you should stop. So just make sure you stay within those limits and you should be fine.
Another possible reason for a leaky tank are damaged O-rings. In this case, disassemble the tank and make sure the O-rings are not damaged or dirty. If they are, clean them or replace them. Most vape devices will come with spare O-rings in the box.
If none of the above are the case, then you might be dealing with a cracked tank. Check it out and make sure your glass tank has not cracked; if it is, it’s time to buy a new tank.
Not Generating Enough Vapor
Most times this means that your device is simply running out of battery. So make sure to charge it completely before using it again.
Another reason could be that you’ve chose the wrong device for the type of vape juice you’re using. For instance, pod systems are usually used for nicotine salts and don’t generate too much vapor. If your goal is to create massive clouds, you’ll need a box mod.
Finally, the VG/PG Ratio is important. Generally, the more VG, the more clouds and vapor you will create. The more PG, the fewer clouds will be created. An 80VG/PG and up ratio will usually yield awesome clouds. If you want a more in-depth explanation of this, please go check out our blog; How Many Chemicals Are in Vape Juice? I’m Getting a ‘No Atomizer’ Sign
A ‘No Atomizer’ sign is a bit more complex than all of the other issues on this list, but there is a way to fix it and an explanation as to why it could be happening. If you want to take a look at a more in-dept explanations, we recommend checking out our guide on How To Fix a “No Atomizer” or “Check Atomizer” Sign In Your Vape: 7 Quick Fixes
Not Feeling a Throat Hit When Vaping
Nicotine salts are the best type of nicotine used to get a throat hit. So it could just be that you’re not using the right type of vape juice.
Another problem could be the VG/PG ratio in your vape juice. The more PG in the ratio, the more of a throat hit you will feel. The more VG, the less a throat hit you will feel. So if you want a harsher vape, we recommend using e-liquids with at least a 50VG/50PG ratio or something that sits heavier on the PG side of things.
Another common reason could be that you’re just not using enough nicotine. So check out our top-selling nicotine salts and see if any of these fit your needs.
Getting Spitback or Tasting Vape Juice When Vaping
If you’re getting spitback, hearing gurgling noises inside your vape when inhaling, or actually tasting the e-liquid, the first thing you should do is flip the vape device outside toward the ground. This should get rid of any excess vape juice in the tank. Just make sure that the tank is attached to the battery tightly and hold it firmly when flipping it so it doesn’t fall to the ground and break.
My Vape Isn't Making Smoke
If this is happening it could mean that the battery is dying and it does not have enough power to turn on the coil. The second potential reason is that the coil is burnt and no longer working, in which case you will need a new coil. If none of these are the case, then it could simply mean you ran out of vape juice.
Vape Pen Not Charging
If the vape device is not charging, our first suggestion is to buy a dedicated USB wall adapter with a USB charging cable. Just bear in mind that using your computer or phone charger does not always work.
If the issue isn’t the charger, it might be that the threading which connects the battery to the mod could be dirty. Using a Q-tip, clean the threading until there is no gunk or residue left. If the vape pen is not working after a full charge, then this could mean that your battery is faulty. This case is even more common when dealing with disposable vapes.
Brand New Disposable Vape Not Working
If you just bought a brand new disposable vape that does not work, there could be many things wrong with it. Manufacturing problems are the most common culprit and there is nothing you can do when that happens, except asking for a refund of course. Batteries may also start to fail after the device stis for too long.
